Visa Sponsorship Software Developer Jobs in Europe (€50,000 – €100,000 a year)

The STFC Central Laser Facility (CLF) provides advanced laser research facilities to UK and international scientists. Octopus, a CLF UK national facility, has many contemporary laser-based imaging and trapping technologies. Confocal, light, and focused ion beam scanning electron microscopy for life, environmental, and materials sciences, as well as three-dimensional imaging and tracking of single molecules, are examples.

SIM, STED, MINFLUX, AiryScan, and STORM were used at ambient and cryogenic temperatures. Physicists, life scientists, and computational scientists collaborate on these microscopy approaches.

Octopus is developing cryo-correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM) and needs scientists and scientific software engineers to help us build new physics approaches to advance structural biology and study proteins in cells.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Are programmers in demand in Europe?

According to Erni, a Swiss software engineering firm, every third-party corporation in Europe is looking for programmers. According to an Eurostat survey, more than half of European Union enterprises are having problems recruiting IT colleagues due to a skills shortage.

What programming language is in demand in Europe?

Backend developers and full-stack engineers both utilize and enjoy JavaScript, which isn’t just for front-end web development. In Europe, JavaScript developers are in high demand, particularly those with React.js or Node.js expertise.

Can you work as a software developer in a different country?

Yes, this is possible. I live in Bulgaria and work for a US corporation headquartered in California. They also have employees in India (with an office there for the majority of them, though one works remotely, like myself) and one in Canada. However, getting a remote job is difficult.
