Responsibilities

Analyze survey data, drawings, aerial photography, and Subsurface Utility Engineering plans
Organize and review utility design information from multiple sources for accuracy and compliance
Coordinate and communicate with utility owners regarding relocation efforts
Conduct and participate in meetings to ensure project schedule milestones are met
Prepare Utility by Others’ plans and related documents using design software
Maintain strong working relationships with utility companies and public agencies
Support project teams with coordination, documentation, and technical input
Perform occasional field work and site visits as required

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (advanced education preferred)
2–4 years of related experience in utility coordination and/or design (preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, and other design software
Strong written, verbal, and technical communication skills
Ability to work both in the office and in the field under varying conditions
Experience with SCDOT or NCDOT projects is an advantage
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform light physical field duties
