USA Fulbright TechGirls Scholarships 2026
Young women around the world with a passion for technology now have an extraordinary opportunity. The prestigious TechGirls Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, is now accepting applications for its 2026 cohort. This fully funded exchange offers an immersive STEM experience in the United States, designed to build both technical skills and leadership potential.

As a TechGirls scholar, you receive full program sponsorship. This comprehensive package includes:
- Roundtrip international airfare.
- Accommodation and meals in the United States.

Eligibility Criteria
Ideal candidates are secondary school students who meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen and current resident of an eligible participating country.
- Be between 15 and 17 years old by the program start in July 2026 (born between July 12, 2008 and July 11, 2011).
- Demonstrate a strong academic interest in STEM fields and intend to pursue higher education and a career in technology.
- Possess an advanced intermediate level of English proficiency.
- Commit to returning to at least one semester of secondary school after the program.
- Exhibit leadership potential, maturity, flexibility, and a commitment to launching a community based project upon return.
- Have limited prior experience in the United States.
Application Process and Key Deadline
The application process is designed to be accessible. First, candidates must complete the online application form, providing details about their academic interests and goals. Importantly, all written responses must be the applicant’s original work.
Next, independent selection panels will review submissions. Shortlisted candidates will then participate in interviews conducted by U.S. Embassy teams. Finally, selected scholars will be notified of their status in March 2026.
