University Students Association (PUSAG) honors Stonebwoy
The Private University Students Association of Ghana has honoured Livingstone Etse Satekla known by his stage name as Stonebwoy. The event took place at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra, on Friday February 7, 2020.
The plaque was presented by PUSAG executive led by H.E the president/CEO of PUSAG Alswel Annan.Portions of the message contained in the inscription on the plaque read “the quality of your music goes beyond the sound of its beat and the flow of lyrics. Rather, it is about the contents and the feeling it brings to your listeners”. Clearly an admission that Stonebwoy gives out what listeners intend to hear.
During the presentation, Stonebwoy expressed his appreciation and promised to collaborate with PUSAG in championing the youth cause. “I am very glad to be recognised and be appreciated by your outfit. It a clear manifestation of the good works we have been doing in the creative industry. I’m honoured” he says.
Additionally, Stonebwoy promised to feature in all incoming PUSAG events. “I am poised to partner and feature in all subsequent PUSAG events”.
Stonebwoy, is a Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae singer. He is the CEO of Burniton Music Group.
He won the Best International Act: Africa category at the 2015 BET Awards and Artist of the Year at the 2015 Vodafon Ghana Music Awards. He is recognized as one of the best reggae and dancehall artist in Africa.
He is a global ambassador for sanitation. In September 2019, he was made the brand ambassador for Voltic Natural Mineral Water. His achievements in the music industry are enormous.
