For the academic year 2023–2024, the University of Manchester is providing eight GREAT Scholarships, each worth £10,000. Eligible candidates come from:

Any taught master’s program is eligible for the scholarships, with the exception of Turkey, Mexico, and Bangladesh (one).

One scholarship is for a taught master’s program in Bangladesh in:

• MSc in Clean Technology and Renewable Energy

• The scholarship is for a taught master’s program in Mexico and Turkey.

KEY SUBJECT AREAS

1 . Intercultural Communication

The cultural variety of today is examined in our MA Intercultural Communication master’s degree. Language contact, translation, migration, memory, media, English as a global language, communicative interaction, and intercultural relations are just a few of the topics from which students can select course modules.

Alumni have gone on to work in UN organizations, as study abroad coordinators for colleges, as independent intercultural trainers, and in cultural institutions with an international focus.

2 . Health Data Science

Our MSc Health Data Science program aims to develop a new breed of scientists who are knowledgeable about the medical field, how data is gathered and analyzed, and how to successfully communicate findings to influence change.

This course, which welcomes participants from a range of fields, including mathematics, computer science, and biological sciences, focuses on an interdisciplinary approach to health data research.

Students learn to operate in multidisciplinary teams rather than specialized silos according to the MSc program’s organizational framework, which also promotes knowledge sharing among students.

3 . Pollution Environmental Control

The modern cultural variety is studied in our MA Intercultural Communication master’s degree.
