- should be in the senior year of their undergraduate program i.e. a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
- should be graduated with a university degree (as described above). These candidates have to begin their internship within a year of their graduation, in case they get selected for the internship.
Candidates will have to show the actual interest they have in the development work and the mission of the UNDP. There should be a desire to work with and earn the respect of the people speaking different dialects and who are from various cultural backgrounds.
There should be an interest in relocating and should not be afraid of difficult situations or working in constantly changing environments. They should have a proactive method to dealing with conditions and have to be extraordinarily adaptable.
