UNIL Switzerland Scholarship 2026
The University of Lausanne (UNIL) in Switzerland is inviting applications for the UNIL Master’s Scholarship 2026, an exclusive opportunity designed for outstanding international students with remarkable academic performance. Each year, about ten scholarships are awarded to graduates from around the world who wish to pursue a master’s degree at one of Switzerland’s leading universities.
This highly competitive scholarship highlights UNIL’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and supporting talented individuals in achieving their educational goals. It provides international students with access to advanced learning in a diverse and intellectually stimulating environment, alongside peers and faculty from across the globe.
While the scholarship offers significant financial support, applicants should note that it is not fully comprehensive. The award is intended to partially cover living and study costs in Lausanne, encouraging students to plan ahead and secure additional funding where necessary. This balance ensures that recipients gain not only academic growth but also practical experience in managing resources while studying abroad.
For students aiming to strengthen their academic journey, the UNIL Master’s Scholarship serves as a gateway to high-quality education, cultural enrichment, and professional advancement. Applicants are also encouraged to explore broader scholarship search resources and seek guidance through Master’s degree advising, ensuring they make well-informed decisions when planning their studies in Switzerland.
Value and Duration of the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded for the official length of the selected master’s program. Candidates who succeed will be awarded CHF 1,600 each month during their studies. Moreover, scholarship recipients will not have to pay UNIL’s regular registration fees, except for a CHF 80 charge due every semester.
Candidates need to understand that the stipend does not fully cover all living expenses in Switzerland, and it is highly recommended to refer to UNIL’s student budget guide to organize financial plans appropriately.
