UK visa: Students can switch to skilled worker visa before graduating.
Students can switch to work visas before graduating, despite concerns that UK student visas may become harder in 2023.
Yash Dubal, Director at A Y & J Solicitors, UK, a London-based visa and immigration specialist, noted that the UK government is removing barriers for international students who want to stay and work.
Dubal called the requirement for a degree-level qualification a “unnecessary hurdle” for students with valuable skills and experience.
The rule change will give international students more flexibility and opportunities and help the UK attract and retain top talent “comments.
The removal of the degree-level qualification requirement also supports the Government’s goal of attracting top global talent to the UK.
This change will also allow more people to apply for the Skilled Worker Visa and contribute to the UK economy. Supporting and attracting international talent will help the UK innovate and grow.
“Overall, this change is a welcome development for international students in the UK, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the economy and society, “he adds
