One of the most well-established and long-standing providers of legal education in the United Kingdom is our company. Our beginnings may be traced back to the year 1876, when the renowned tutoring business Gibson & Weldon was established. Subsequently, in the same year, the Law Society School of Law was also established. In 1962, the two institutions came together to form what is now known as the College of Law. In 2012, we were given the ability to call ourselves a complete university. The year 2016 saw the beginning of our business school, which has since begun to expand across all of our campuses and has formed collaborations with prestigious international institutions such as the GISMA Business School established in Berlin.
We made history in 2006 when we became the first independent university to be awarded degree-awarding powers by the Privy Council. This led to the formation of our Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degree programs, which are geared toward professionals.

University of Brighton
Over 3,000 postgraduate students from a wide range of countries and backgrounds attend the University of Brighton, which is a successful university with great locations on the south coast of England.
