Following the easing of the COVID-19 restrictions by Government and resumption of Academic work for Final Year Students, Management has given approval for the College of Distance Education (CODE) to continue with the remaining sessions of its Examinations for students. A detailed Time Table for the Examinations is attached.
The University of Cape Coast has also put in place the following COVID-19 measures and protocols to ensure the safety of staff and students during the Examinations.
i) Strict enforcement of the wearing of masks, washing of hands, and the proper usage of other safety materials.
ii) Provision of veronica buckets. soaps and hand sanitizers at the entry point to the Examination Centres.
iv. Taking of temperature of students before entry to Examination Halls. Special rooms will be reserved for quarantine at each of the Examination Centres.
V. These rooms will be managed by the University’s COVID-19 Rapid Response Taskforce.
Making available to staff and students, hotlines to the University’s COVID-19 Rapid Response Taskforce.
In addition, students are required to adhere to the following COVID 19 Protocols as well as other
Safety Guidelines:
1. All students must wear their mask before entering Examination Halls and during the Examinations.
2. Students must come with any National or Student ID card before they are allowed to enter the Examination Hall 3. Students must come with their own examination materials such as pens, pencils, erasers, mathematical sets, etc.
4. Students will not be permitted to share examination materials in the Examination Hall.
5. Students are not to bring babies into the Examination Hall.
All other related issues concerning the Examinations will be communicated. All are to take note and abide by the guidelines for our collective safety.
