Every year, Forbes, an American business magazine compiles and publishes a list of the Richest Africans.
In 2021, the wealth of African billionaires increased despite the effect of the pandemic on many businesses. According to the list published by Forbes, 18 of Africa’s richest individuals had a net worth of $84.9 billion at the end of 2021, which means 15 percent or $4.7 billion more than their combined net worth of $73.8 billion at the end of 2020.
