Toke Makinwa returns as host of BBNaija ‘The Buzz’ season 2
She is a Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur, actress, and author. Toke is known for hosting The Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 FM and for her YouTube vlog series Toke Moments.
She released her book “On Becoming” in November 2016. She was born November 3, 1984, in Lagos, Nigeria to Modupe Monica Makinwa, Caleb Ifemayowa Makinwa. Toke was married to Maje Ayida from 2014 -2017.
She has two siblings; Busayo Makinwa, Ope Makinwa. She has been crowned the most influential young Nigerian and style influencer. She’s worth about 3 million dollars. Some TV shows she has hosted include, Moments, Trending, and Live Chicks.

Days ago it was confirmed that the radio and Tv personality will be hosting the second season of the BBNaija. The streaming service confirmed this on Wednesday, in a video featuring Toke Makinwa. The media personality returns as the show’s host with the promise of exciting moments, guests, and all the spicy hot gist from the reality show. The new season, which promises to be bigger and better is leaving no stone unturned.
“The Buzz” Show
BBNaija’s, “The Buzz”, was launched last year with season six of the reality show. Their weekly episodes featured celebrities taking rounds to analyze the housemates. A selling point for the show was its exclusive access to unaired diary sessions. With Toke as the host for this season, it promises nothing but unending gisting and fun times.
This year’s Big Brother Naija season was set to commence last weekend. The two-day opening show commenced on July 22 to 23, 2022.
