THERE IS REWARD IN SERVING NPP: ATWIMA MPONUA AS A REFERENCE

    October 20th, 2021 at 04:52 pm

Barely some few months into the second term of the competent President of Ghana, H. E Nana Addo and some people have already started making unfounded negative conclusions about the administration including some party faithful’s who should know better.

Many have soon forgotten that the President and his officials have four year mandate to build the nation. He has proven from 2017-2020 with numerous achievements and therefore, let’s trust him to deliver for his years ahead.

As committed Patriots seeking the interest of the party and the nation at large, we should be interested in serving the party and the country first. ….. “And he (Jesus) sat down and called the twelve. And he (Jesus) said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all”. – Mark 9:35 NKJ. When we serve the party today, tomorrow others will also serve us.

Many a time, some members of the party are impatience with their self development. To them, they should be rewarded even when they have virtually done no service to the party or to an individual of the party. Let’s not forget that many have been rewarded for their service to the party and therefore our time will also come.

I believe in time and season so should you. In Atwima Mponua, the likes of Former DCE, Hon Yaw Darko, Current DCE, Hon Isaac Marfo, Constituency Secretary, Collins Addai, Constituency Organizer, Bismark Obuobi and many others are good examples of reward of hard work.

The NPP as party has a long standing tradition of rewarding hard work and service to the party. The President Nana Addo is an epitome of hard work and service to NPP. He worked for the party from his youthful days even at a time when democracy wasn’t as developed as today and was very dangerous to be an activist.

Today, he has been rewarded with the highest votes difference between himself and his competitors in the history Ghana’s fourth republic as far as the 2016 General Election is concerned. Our Member of Parliament, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah who worked with TESCON during his University of Ghana days became a Youth Wing Administrator at the Party’s Office before contesting for Parliamentary Primaries and got rewarded with votes from the people of Atwima Mponua.

While serving the party in any capacity you can, be it communication, organizing and mobilizing or even financing, it also serves as an opportunity for you to learn, develop yourself and when it’s your turn to lead the party in any portfolio, it becomes easy and practicable.

Today, a lot of people are praising the hard work of Obuobi as Constituency Organizer. However, many have forgotten he didn’t just become the Organizer by accident. He served the party in diverse ways. He served as a Deputy Youth Organizer to Youth Organizer and to deputy Organizer and mastered to become the grounds master that we are all touting him to be.

Our Constituency Secretary is also one person who has never been neglected by the party ever since he served the party. His service to the party has always paid off. From the days He served the MP as Personal Secretary till now, he has been rewarded by the party.

Apart from the votes he got to become the Constituency Secretary, he was appointed as Youth Employment District coordinator for Atwima Mponua during former President Kuffour’s era and even today, he is the NABCO District coordinator. As part of the Party’s structures, Secretaries are paid monthly for doing administrative works.

If you ever feel neglected and wants to give up on New Patriotic Party, kindly remember the numerous party members who have been rewarded for their service to the party. Have the hope that, within 24 hours, 6 O’clock knocks twice. Someone has been rewarded in the morning so shall you be rewarded in the evening. Thank You and God bless you.

My name is Domfeh Emmanuel but I prefer to be called Sir Noble, a native of Ntobroso and I love Atwima Mponua.
