Do you have what it takes to be a children’s edutainer?
We are currently recruiting science instructor’s to work in the Accra area!
Terrific Scientific Busters is a start-up (expanding very quickly) whose aim is to share with children the fun, amazement and wonders of science through a unique service that combines education and entertainment.
We require reliable, very responsible and organised individuals with great performing skills to present our science programmes to children in the Accra area. Our science programmes take place in -schools, science camps and parties and we are looking for (part-time) science instructors to join our team of energetic, enthusiastic science instructors.
Candidates must be inspirational, dynamic and have a keen interest in promoting fun, stimulating learning for children. You will be responsible for facilitating hands-on, interactive science clubs and science parties to children of primary school age.
Required Skills or Experience
Essential requirements:
- A passion for working with children
- Acting skills
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Good sense of humour (to win the interest of children)
- Confident presentational manner
- Excellent spoken English
- Have some experience of working with children aged between 4 -12 (in entertainment, education, sporting setting etc )
- Impeccable punctuation and reliability, excellent time management is crucial in this role and will not be compromised.
Desirable
- A scientific background (not essential as full training will be provided)
Qualification
- Diploma course (any field/preferably in science)
- FULL TRAINING PROVIDED WITH COMPETITIVE WAGE
