Take on news editor for the false reportage – Chief to A-O-B NPP
News editor for rainbow radio has been exposed for a false reportage. Chief of Breman Diebene, Nana Larbi I, has revealed that the content of his publication was nothing short of a mere fabrication.
This was widely shared by ghanaweb as originally sourced from rainbowradio. In the said publication, it claimed some natives of the area are furious of the governing New Patriotic Party. The undisclosed interviewees chose to run down the reputation of Hon Anthony Effah and Hon Isaac Odoom, Member of Parliament and Chief Executive of Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa constituency/district respectively.
For fear of a possible legal suit and the risk of losing serious web visitors as a result of the said inaccurate news, the said publication has been pulled down. This happened few minutes after the successful meeting of the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa NPP gurus and the Chief and people of Breman Dabene.
According to them, neither the MP, the DCE nor any constituency party executive should there step a foot in Breman Diabene. Their fabrication has been hugely flawed as kingpins of the party at the constituency level stormed the community this afternoon.
In attendance were the council of Elders led by Mr Eduful Annan. Huge representation of the constituency party executives included the First Vice Chairman Mr. Asante Baidoo, Secretary – Asamoah Boateng and
the Youth Organizer Lawerence. The field Marshall and the party’s constituency organizer was mobbed by a crowed of enthusiasts who were yearning to see him.
As custom demands, they paid a courtesy call to the respected Chief of the community, Nana Larbi I. He was taken by a surprised upon hearing that a false publication of such has been made. According to the chief, today is the first time of him hearing about it.
“I must say that this come as a great shock. The town is actually not aware of any such publication. Anyway, that’s how some people are now running politics on social media. Let me be honest with you, I have not made any such utterance to any party for any political gain. Campaign promises, being a social contract, are time bound. I am aware you have just crossed half of your first term. So I am hopeful that you shall fulfill most of them” Nana Larbi hinted.
The chief expressed his gratitude to Hon Effah for haven added the community to the Community Water Project Grid. Evidence of pipelines being laid is there for all to see.
As if the party is already aware of the Oliver twist clue, they topped the ongoing projects in the community with a reshape of their roads.
The polling station executives of Breman Dabene suspects that the agenda to paint black NPP in the community was being hatched by some seven people in the community. In fact, according to them, they are the only members of NDC in the community.
