Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Summer Bridge Scholarship 2025, you need to:
- Be a senior in high school when applying.
- Be a newly admitted UCI freshman who has turned in a Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).
- Reside in California (includes AB540/undocumented students)
- Meet the criteria for one or more of the following:
- College student from the first generation

Program Requirements
Students awarded scholarships are anticipated to:
- Participate in SPOP 6 (August 1–2) and the FSSP Orientation (August 3)
- Reside on-campus (quad occupancy) from July 31 to September 11, 2025.
- Sign up for and participate in:
- University Studies 84 (Mon/Wed 4–6:50 PM)
- Sociology 1 (TuTh 1–3:50 PM)
- Participate in a minimum of 2 Faculty Connections and 2 Collegiate Life activities.
- Engage in Community Care meetings and connect with designated mentors.
How to Apply for the Summer Bridge Scholarship 2025
