Program Offerings
- Graduate-level studies or research (Master’s or Doctorate level)
- Learning Format: In-person, virtual, or hybrid
- Duration: At least 1 academic year and a maximum of 2 academic years.
- Host Locations: Universities in any OAS Member State (not including the applicant’s home/sponsoring country)
- Eligible Institutions: Any accredited university, ideally from the OAS Consortium of Universities.
Details on Scholarship Funding
- OAS Academic Scholarships are supplementary and can provide funding of up to USD $10,000 annually, which includes:
- Tuition and compulsory university charges
- Medical coverage
- Monthly additional support allowance
- Round-trip plane ticket
- Yearly book stipend

Eligibility Requirements
To submit an application, you need to:
- Be a citizen or a permanent resident of a Member State of the OAS.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree at the point of application
- Maintain a solid academic performance (higher than the minimum GPA required by the targeted university)
- Maintain strong mental and physical well-being.
- Show language competence in the instructional language of the host university.
- Consent to go back to your home country for a minimum of 24 months following the program’s completion.

- Duplicate of diploma and academic records (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- Unconditional acceptance letter for a program commencing in 2025.
- Two recommendation letters (from instructors or employers)
- Government-issued ID or passport
- CV (maximum of 2 pages)
- Online application form
- Proof of language proficiency (if necessary for the host university).

Deadline for Applications:
- For citizens of the USA and Venezuela: Every online document needs to be submitted by Friday, April 11, 2025. (OAS serves as the National Liaison Office for both of these nations.)
- For candidates from any other nation: Send your full application to the National Liaison Office (ONE) located in your country.
Results Disclosure: June 2025 – The official results of the final selection will be posted on the OAS website.
Funding Distribution: Late 2025 – Initial academic year funding starts to be distributed.
