This fellowship offers a unique chance for talented researchers from around the world to immerse themselves in a vibrant research community that spans diverse fields related to design, visual culture, and material studies.

As one of the leading interdisciplinary design research hubs in the UK, the CDH is home to an extensive network of over 50 members, including curators, designers, artists, and scholars. This provides a rich and collaborative environment where fellows can engage in meaningful exchanges of ideas and insights, fostering intellectual growth and innovation.

Each theme offers a platform to explore significant issues and trends impacting the contemporary design landscape.

This is a remarkable opportunity for researchers eager to contribute to and benefit from a supportive and interdisciplinary setting, enhancing both their research and professional networks. Embrace this chance to collaborate and push the boundaries of design research at the University of Brighton’s Centre for Design History.
