Funding of Exeter Excellence Scholarship

Successful candidates will get a tuition fee reduction of £3,000 or £5,000 for their initial year, which will be maintained at that amount for all following years of their program, excluding study abroad, placements, or repeated years. Eligibility Requirements
The scholarship is available to international students, including EU citizens paying international fees, who have received an offer of admission, whether conditional or unconditional, to commence their undergraduate studies at the University of Exeter in September 2026. Applicants should be starting the first year of their degree program. Students advancing from the University of Exeter International Study Centre (ISC) are ineligible. The Exeter Excellence Scholarship spans a variety of undergraduate courses within three primary faculties
The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences provides options in Biosciences, Clinical and Biomedical Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, Sports Sciences, Health and Care Professions, and associated fields. Within the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, qualifying programs consist of Law, English, History, Archaeology, International Relations, Sociology, Drama, Film, Languages, Philosophy, Theology, and numerous others.
Candidates will be chosen based on their academic achievements and their capacity to show distinct educational and career goals, a strong strategy to maximize their study experience at Exeter, and an awareness of social responsibility and community involvement. How to Apply
Submissions for applications should be made via the University of Exeter Funding Database. In your application, you must compose a personal statement of 300 words that responds to three queries: What are your aspirations for the future, and in what way will studying at Exeter assist you in reaching those goals? What will you offer to the campus community? How would you portray the University in the role of an ambassador? Only one application for each program is permitted, and any duplicate entries will be ignored.
Timeline for Applications
The Exeter Excellence Scholarships 2026/27 application procedure will occur in two phases. The initial round begins on 24 September 2025 and ends on 12 February 2026, with results revealed on 12 March 2026. For individuals who miss the initial chance, a subsequent round will commence on 26 February 2026 and conclude on 23 April 2026, with successful candidates being informed of their outcomes by 14 May 2026
