Eligibility Requirements

Chevening Scholarships: Candidates are required to:

  • Be a resident of a country or territory eligible for Chevening.
  • Go back to their native country for a minimum of two years once the grant concludes.
  • Possess an undergraduate degree (comparable to a UK upper second-class 2:1).
  • Possess a minimum of two years (2,800 hours) of full-time employment experience.
  • Submit applications for three qualifying UK master’s programs.
  • Satisfy all UK university entry criteria, including English language proficiency (if relevant).

Chevening Fellowships: These are available for mid-career professionals who:

  • Possess substantial professional experience (typically over 5 years)
  • Can showcase leadership capability and industry influence.
  • Are prepared to engage in rigorous professional development programmes based in the UK.
