The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation (JKCF) provides a range of scholarship and educational support programmes to help high-performing students overcome financial barriers and achieve their academic and career ambitions. The Cooke College Scholarship provides up to $55,000 per year in last-dollar assistance after institutional aid for undergraduates. The Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship also provides up to $55,000 a year for two to three years to eligible community college students moving to four-year colleges.

1. Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholars Program

The Young Scholars Program is an educational support programme for the most promising children with financial need, starting in the eighth grade.

Cooke Young Scholars receive full educational assistance and financial support throughout high school. The programme supports students in pursuing difficult academic and talent-development opportunities and prepares them for college.

2. Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship Program

The Cooke College Scholarship Program is for high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who wish to attend an approved four-year college or university.

The scholarship is worth up to $55,000 a year and is expected to help significantly with educational costs, including tuition, living expenses, books, and required fees.

3. Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship

The Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is for exceptional community college students who wish to pursue their bachelor’s degrees at a four-year university or college.

Depending on the student’s circumstances and remaining undergraduate study requirements, the prize may pay up to $55,000 a year for two to three years. The scholarship is a last-dollar award after institutional aid and may help cover tuition, living expenses, books, and necessary fees.

Requirements for the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship 2027

1. Be a senior in high school.

• Applicants must be in their fourth year of high school in the United States, a U.S. territory, or a U.S. military base and anticipate graduating in spring 2027.
• Therefore, students attending secondary school outside of the United States are not eligible to apply for the Cooke College Scholarship.

2. Plan to Attend a Four-Year College

• Applicants must plan to attend a recognised four-year college or university on a full-time basis commencing in autumn 2027.

3. Meet the GPA Requirement

• Applicants must have at least a 3.75 cumulative unweighted high school GPA.

4. Submit an Accepted Standardised Test Score

• For the current 2026–27 application cycle, applicants must submit a score from at least one of the following:

2. ACT
3. AP
4. IB

5. Demonstrate Leadership and Service

• Applicants should have leadership skills, determination, and significant involvement in their communities.
