This chance is exclusively intended for students from four collaborating South African universities:
- Stellenbosch University
- University of Cape Town
- University of Pretoria
- University of the Western Cape
Qualified candidates should be:
- Inscribed at one of the aforementioned universities
- Chosen by their university for the scholarship
- Capable of fulfilling the admission criteria for exchange/study abroad at Leiden University.
Scholarship Benefits
According to your home university, the scholarship includes:
- Monthly living stipend: Maximum of €1,250
- Aon Student Insurance for the entire exchange period (5 or 10 months)
- One or two semester options for studying at Leiden University in various faculties, including: Archaeology, Humanities, Medicine/LUMC, Governance and Global Affairs, Law, Social and Behavioural Sciences, Science, African Studies Centre, and International Institute for Asian Studies
