Criteria for Eligibility for the VISTEC Scholarship 2025:

School of Biomolecular Science and Engineering (BSE)

Students in their final year of a bachelor’s program, or possessing a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Physics, or related fields; a B. Eng. degree in Chemical, Biological, Environmental, Mechanical, or related disciplines; or a bachelor’s degree in applied sciences such as pharmacy or medical technology, as well as students in their final year of a master’s program, or holding an M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields; an M. Eng. degree in Chemical, Biological, Environmental, Mechanical, or related disciplines; or a master’s degree in applied sciences such as pharmacy or medical technology.

School of Energy Science and Engineering (ESE)

Obtained or in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific disciplines such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Institute of Information Science and Technology (IST)

Students in their final year of a bachelor’s program, or possessing a B.Sc. degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, a B. Eng. in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines, or a bachelor’s degree in applied sciences such as Information Technology, ICT, or related areas, as well as students in their final year of a master’s program, or holding an M.Sc. degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, an M. Eng. in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines, or a master’s degree in applied sciences such as Information Technology, ICT, or related areas.

School of Molecular Science and Engineering (MSE)

Obtaining or in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, etc.), Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other pertinent disciplines.

  • Purpose Statement Recommendation Letters
  • Evidence of English proficiency test results (TOEFL (iBT), IELTS, or CU-TEP)
