Who Can Apply?

The Pioneering Women in STEM Scholarship 2026 targets exceptional women from the following ten eligible countries:

Thailand

To qualify, applicants must:

Be female citizens of one of the eligible countries.
Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Apply to an English-taught master’s program in a STEM-related discipline such as renewable energy, biotechnology, environmental engineering, or data science.
Have at least 3,000 hours of verified work experience in their field.
Demonstrate leadership potential through academic, professional, or community involvement.
Be liable to pay tuition fees at Swedish universities.
Have paid the University Admissions application fee before the stated deadline.

Applicants with dual citizenship from non-eligible countries or those who have previously received a Swedish Institute scholarship are not eligible to apply.

Scholarship Coverage

The Pioneering Women in STEM Scholarship provides comprehensive financial and professional support, including:

Full tuition fees paid directly to the university.
A monthly living allowance of SEK 12,000 throughout the study duration.
A one-time travel grant of SEK 15,000.
Free membership in the SI Network for Global Professionals (NFGP).
Lifetime access to the Sweden Alumni Network for continued learning and collaboration.

However, the scholarship does not cover family members, university application fees, or personal insurance.
