  • To be eligible for admission to the University of the Philippines in 2025, applicants must have finished their postgraduate or master’s degree within the past two years.
  • Candidates must not be more than forty years old at the time of application filing.
  • It is not possible to submit an application for this scholarship if you are a student at the University of Pretoria in pursuit of a doctoral or master’s degree, or if you have previously attended university.

Documents That Are Required:

  • Letter of Motivation from the Chair of the Doctoral Program
  • An Outline of the Research, One Page
  • Curriculum Vitae (with fewer than three pages)
  • Certification of Leave for Academic Purposes (if appropriate)
  • The academic transcripts for all degrees, along with a copy of the passport
  • The two forms of reference
