What You Receive – Fellowship Award Package
The chosen candidate will obtain a monthly maintenance payment of €1,040.98, transferred directly through bank payment. The fellowship is set to begin for a duration of 3 months starting in September 2025, with an option for extension until the project’s funding is fully utilized. In addition to financial assistance, fellows will gain from:
- An active participation in the Algarve’s Centro Académico Clínico (CAC) of Investigation and Biomedical Formation project.

Eligibility Requirements
This fellowship targets researchers in the early stages of their careers (R1 level). For consideration, applicants are required to:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or similar disciplines (overseas degrees must be validated by a Portuguese higher education authority).
- Show expertise in biomedicine, bioinformatics, biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or anatomophysiology.
- Possess previous experience in data gathering, statistical evaluation, and functional assessments in clinical or laboratory environments.
- Provide proof of involvement in scientific initiatives or publications.
- Exhibit excellent communication, organizational abilities, drive, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
