Regardless of whether you aspire to tackle climate change via circular bioeconomy solutions or to innovate health biotechnology through microbial factories, this is your arena!

Your Objective

  • Participate in one of two engaging research initiatives concentrated on:
  • Sustainable Bioeconomy: Designing microbial production systems that utilize renewable resources.
  • Health Biotechnology: Creating microbial systems for the development of next-generation biopharmaceuticals and tailored medicine substances.
  • Anticipate practical involvement in:
  • Developing microbial systems (Batch, Fed-Batch, Chemostat).
  • Utilizing advanced analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, and isotopic tracing.
  • Conducting gene modification and molecular biology.
  • Disseminating and showcasing your results in English.
  • Assisting in instructional and guidance efforts.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, you need to:

  • Possess a master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Biology, or a similar discipline.
  • Gain expertise in microbiology, fermentation technology, or systems biotechnology.
  • Embrace enthusiasm for sustainable science and a bio-based future.
  • Possess strong English communication abilities (B2 or higher).
  • Stay inspired, collaborative, and focused on details.
  • Extra points if you are already familiar with molecular biology and laboratory software applications.
