Ute and György Széll International PhD Scholarship
The Ute and György Széll foreign Scholarship will allow exceptional foreign Ph.D. candidates in Social Sciences and Humanities to spend six months at a German university, research institute, foundation, or archive. There is no age restriction.
Dieter Schumacher International PhD Scholarship
- We invite applications from individuals performing research on fiscal and monetary policy, labor markets, income distribution, financial markets, or other employee-relevant disciplines.
- Applicants are anticipated to be politically, culturally, and socially involved, demonstrating a keen interest in the fundamental ideals of the Hans Böckler Foundation.
- The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of EUR 1550 for living expenses and an annual grant of EUR 1400 for travel expenditures. Applications are available for scholarships of 12 or 24 months duration.

The Ute and György Széll foreign Scholarship will allow exceptional foreign Ph.D. candidates in Social Sciences and Humanities to undertake a six-month residency at a German institution, research institute, foundation, or archive. There is no age restriction.

- Admission to a PhD program in Social Sciences or Humanities
