The Copernicus Berlin International Excellence Scholarship Programme (IES) 2025-26 is an esteemed initiative aimed at promoting academic exchange between different cultures. Partial scholarship

  • Monthly Stipend: Obtain a consistent monetary allowance.
  • Living expenses, including enrollment fees, insurance, and program activities, are completely funded.
  • Travel: Participants are accountable for covering their own travel expenses.
  • Health Insurance: Participants have the responsibility for their own health insurance.
  • Accommodation: A single payment of €1,650 covers a two-month stay. The remaining expenses for lodging will be taken care of.

Eligible Nationalities

The program is specifically designed for students who are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree and come from countries including Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

Requirements for eligibility

  • Academic Requirement: Must be presently registered in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral program at an accredited university.
  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be younger than 28 years old when they begin the scholarship.
  • Area of specialization: All areas of specialization are acceptable.
  • Language fluency Requirement: Display a high degree of fluency in either German or English, at least at the B1 level or above.

Documents that are necessary or obligatory:

1. Extensive Curriculum Vitae (CV):

  • Format: Please include a recent photograph and arrange your academic and professional experiences in chronological order, using either German or English.
  • Emphasize your educational history, professional background, and any pertinent volunteer engagements.

2. Academic Transcript:

  • Native Language: Please provide a duplicate of your official university transcript in its native language.
