Recipients of scholarships:

• Accepted candidates are required to visit a Chinese embassy or consulate overseas to apply for a study visa, bringing their ordinary passport, the Tongji University Admission Notice, and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China (JW202).
• The candidates are required to bring the aforementioned materials to Tongji University to submit their admission applications at the designated time in the notice and to apply for a residence certificate by the relevant regulations of the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau.
• Individuals who do not submit their reports within the designated timeframe without authorization will forfeit both their student status and eligibility for scholarships. Please refer to the “Orientation” section of the school website for admission guidelines.
• Participation in the annual scholarship review is mandatory. Individuals who do not succeed in the assessment will be suspended or excluded from the scholarship.

In principle, the major and the duration of the study are immutable.
