Regarding the University of Winnipeg

The University of Winnipeg, as a dynamic campus and urban hub, promotes cross-cultural comprehension and the cultivation of global citizens.

Our exceptional undergraduate and graduate programs feature some unique offerings in Western Canada, such as the Master’s program in Development Practice with a specialization in Indigenous Development and the Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights. UWinnipeg is esteemed for its small class sizes, academic excellence, and commitment to Indigenous inclusion, leading our graduates to value their educational experience.

Daily, around 2,000 students, educators, personnel, and visitors are accommodated at the Richardson College for the Environment & Science Complex. Our distinguished faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, along with one of Canada’s most innovative science complexes, are researching and studying the most challenging issues we face: pollution in our lakes and air, isotope production and cancer research, and climate change.

The state-of-the-art Axworthy Health and RecPlex offers opportunities for student training and pioneering research in applied health, education, and kinesiology. Recreational and leisure programs are offered at the RecPlex for students, Wesmen athletics, and the general public.
