Qualified Nationalities

  • This scholarship is available to overseas students from Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Criteria for Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for the scholarship:

  • Commence their undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University of Adelaide in 2025.
  • Direct admission applicants, including those required to complete a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to commencing their degree.

Fulfill the minimal academic merit criteria:

  • For Undergraduate Programs: A minimum ATAR of 99.9 or an equivalent score is required.
  • For Postgraduate Programs: A minimum GPA of 6.9 on a 7.0 scale or an equivalent grade is required.
  • Applicants who have obtained their latest qualifications in Australia must possess a minimum GPA of 6.8 on a 7.0 scale.
  • Citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, or Bangladesh who are enrolling as foreign students, or who have obtained their most recent credentials in Australia.
  • Scholarship eligibility is assessed during the application process for the selected coursework program at the University of Adelaide.
  • Applicants who satisfy the academic criteria will have their submissions evaluated by the Scholarship Selection Committee. Applicants must submit their applications prior to the closing dates to be considered.

Application Process

Students must first submit their application for the undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University of Adelaide to apply for this grant. Upon receipt of the application, candidates who satisfy the minimal merit criteria will be evaluated for the scholarship by the Scholarship Selection Committee.

Application Submission Deadlines:

  • Trimester 1, 2025: 30 November 2024;
  • Semester 1, 2025: 30 November 2024
  • Second Trimester, 2025: 28 February 2025
  • Second Semester, 2025: 31 May 2025
  • Third Trimester, 2025: 31 May 2025
