Students, regardless of their nationality, who are enrolled in an approved Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program, are eligible to apply for Research Training Program (RTP) funds. The AGRTP International Scholarship allows international students from any country to pursue their Master’s or PhD degrees in Australia. The Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) is a fully-funded fellowship that covers all expenses for the academic year 2024–2025.

The grants are available to students from all academic disciplines and majors who aspire to obtain a college degree. The Australian Government offers scholarships for individuals pursuing studies in engineering, computer science, mathematics, health sciences, the arts, professions, and sciences. The scholarship will cover all expenses.

The Australian Government Research Scholarship 2024–25 is a comprehensive scholarship available to international students studying in Australia, covering all expenses. In Australia, the funds will cover the following expenses.

  • The stipend provided is a tax-free living allowance of AUD 32,192 per year (2024 value). It is available for a maximum of two years for a research master’s degree and up to three years for a research doctoral degree with research.
  • The full tuition fee for a Master’s degree is covered for a period of up to 2 years, while for a PhD degree, it is covered for a period of up to 4 years.
  • Medical Funds (Compensation for sick leave).

  • Expense reimbursement for travel The cost of airfare for travel to and from Adelaide from their native country is $1000.
  • Doctorate candidates must submit their thesis for AUD$840, which covers editing, printing, and binding. AUD$ 420 is the price for Masters by Research Candidates.
