Notwithstanding considerable advancements in recent years, women continue to be underrepresented in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Societal obstacles, resource scarcity, and restricted opportunity have traditionally impeded women’s advancement in various domains. The WISER initiative aims to rectify this disparity by:

Program Overview:

Under this initiative, women academics and entrepreneurs with permanent employment in academic, research, or industrial organizations in India or Germany may apply to participate in a current research and development project of interest, contingent upon approval by the host team.

The duration will be three years or until project completion, whichever occurs first, and will include one annual visit for a short stay of up to one month.
