Responsibilities:

• Read and understand engineering plans.
• Putting together base files if needed.
• Measuring and drawing the lines for cutting and bending.
• Set up machines for working with metal, such as rollers, drill presses, flame cuts, brakes, and shears.
• Before starting to cut, the plan specifications are double-checked.
• Making and putting together metal parts.
• Grinding and polishing finished items.
• Putting finished goods through quality checks.
• Safety rules are set by the state and the company.
• Putting together job papers.

Requirements

• Steel Fabricators who have the ability to read drawings and do the fabrication
• A metal Fabricator Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is needed.
• Used to work as a metal maker in the past.
