Responsibilities:
- Read and understand engineering plans.
- Putting together base files if needed.
- Measuring and drawing the lines for cutting and bending.
- Set up machines for working with metal, such as rollers, drill presses, flame cuts, brakes, and shears.
- Before starting to cut, the plan specifications are double-checked.
- Making and putting together metal parts.
- Grinding and polishing finished items.
- Putting finished goods through quality checks.
- Safety rules are set by the state and the company.
- Putting together job papers.
Requirements
- Steel Fabricators who have the ability to read drawings and do the fabrication
- A metal Fabricator Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is needed.
- Used to work as a metal maker in the past.
