• Role: Logistics Manager
• Location: Wa and Tamale, Ghana

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to manage our entire supply chain activities. You will apply your knowledge and experience in logistics to reach income goals. You will collaborate with team members in the organization, suppliers, and other service providers to source, store and deliver commodities to customers.

The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages logistics, warehouses, transportation, and customer services
• Directs, optimizes, and coordinates full order cycles
• Liaises and negotiates with suppliers, manufacturers, transporters, and customers
• Keeps track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
• Arranges warehouses, catalogs goods, plans routes, and processes shipments
• Maintains metrics and analyzes data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Develops excellent relationships with partners
• Advises on optimal transportation activities such as routing, equipment, and schedules for delivery.
• Monitors existing logistic systems and make suggestions for improvements when needed.
• Creates and enforces policies and practices for logistics activities that focus on effectiveness, sustainability, and efficiency.

Qualification and Experience

• BA/BSc/MA/MSc in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• 5+ years of working experience as a Logistics Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of agriculture value chains and commodity supplies in Ghana.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
