Ghanaian musician and media personality, Deborah Vanessa known in Showbiz as Sister Derby has expressed her concern of not being happy towards Joy FM for something they have done to her.
According to Sister Derby in a post in her twitter page, one of Joy FM’s show hosts named Kwaku Brachie secretly recorded and played a conversation with her on air, without her knowledge.
She explained that Kwaku Brachie called and invited her to their studio for a discussion on cyber bullying. During the Phone call, Derby stated that she laid down some of her reservations on the issue, and talked briefly on attitudes of some media personnels in the industry.
She then agreed to honor the interview only to show up at their studios the next morning, to hear an edited version of their private conversation being played live on air.
She expressed her displeasure in her post and then called on the host for his act of unprofessionalism for editing and playing a confidential information on air without permission or approval of any kind.
She said wrote on Twitter;
“It’s been an unfortunate series of events, starting with invasion of my privacy, recording of a conversation without my knowledge or consent, editing of this confidential conversation and playing it on air – all without permission or approval of any kind. I least expected this from a rep of Joy FM’s stature. This appalling treatment meted out to me should certainly not be occurring in this day and age. @Joy997FM“
