Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js
Deliver high-quality production code with unit and integration tests
Review code and collaborate with peers to uphold engineering standards
Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
Integrate applications with monitoring and support tools
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning and retrospectives
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements

Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years of hands-on Node.js experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS)
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Experience with Express, NestJS, or Fastify
React or Next.js experience is a plus
CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) are advantageous
