About Role

The Security Architect will take end-to-end responsibility for designing, implementing, and evolving enterprise security architecture across complex IT environments. Responsibilities

  • Define security requirements by analysing business objectives, systems, and regulatory standards
  • Design enterprise security architecture across LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and related platforms
  • Develop and implement PKI, certification authorities, digital signatures, and key management systems
  • Lead implementation of intrusion detection, prevention, and monitoring solutions
  • Oversee installation, configuration, calibration, and documentation of security systems
  • Monitor the security environment and plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements
  • Design and maintain preventive and reactive security controls and incident response measures
  • Produce security posture, risk, and trend reports for stakeholders and leadership
  • Track emerging threats, standards, and best practices, and incorporate them into the architecture strategy
  • Provide high-level technical guidance and support to infrastructure and engineering teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in security architecture, information security, or cybersecurity engineering
  • Deep experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection, and enterprise security platforms
  • Strong background in security system design, implementation, monitoring, and upgrades
  • Proven experience in security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and architecture reviews
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Willingness to work on-site in New York City and relocate if currently overseas
  • Eligibility for U.S. work authorisation pathways, including H-1B or OPT support
