POSITION: Export Sales Representative (French speaker)
About the role:
The position is part of SC Johnson‘s sales team and will be responsible for managing and accountable for successful business growth in West and Central Africa (excluding Nigeria and Ghana).
Responsibilities:
- Develop business and increase sales in both modern and traditional trade.
- Understand distribution and sales via distributors.
- Lead distribution and new distributor appointments in the market
- Track and deliver KPIs:
- Sell-in, sell-out, Department of Health, Local distribution goals, key clients, and MHskus.
- Assist in tracking and updating data for value chains, pricing surveys, Dial, JBP, and Brag albums.
- Manage the distributor network and train their sales team.
- Check the competitors, look for counterfeits, and find market perspectives.
- Overseeing the implementation of marketing initiatives in line with SCJ’s strategies.
What experience will you bring?
- At least 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, and analysis.
- Unrestricted mobility to travel throughout West and Central Africa
- Ability to navigate a worldwide environment in the firm.
Requirements
Fluency in both French and English.
- Excellent analytical and communicative skills.
- The ability to think strategically and drive the appropriate steps for the long-term advantage of the firm.
- Sense of urgency: The ability to meet deadlines while managing different responsibilities.
- Self-motivated “can do” attitude, demonstrating a high level of initiative.
