Following the official confirmation of Asamoah Gyan’s signing to Legon cities, Sarkodie has reacted happily to the recent development in the premier league expressing that things will be getting exciting henceforth.
The Black Stars top scorer was unveiled few hours ago by Legon Cities Fc as their new player who has signed a season-long deal and will be earning more than $1M in cash and other packages.
The signing of Ghana’s baby jet has drawn more eyes all over the country to the premier league which is yet to commence.
Asamoah Gyan, is hailed by most local football fans because of the feat he has been able to achieve. They believe this move he made to the Ghana Premier League will give the league a new outlook and recognition since everybody will be looking forward to seeing Asamoah Gyan play and entertain football lovers.
This move automatically makes him the highest-paid player in Ghana after he rejected interests from Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Accra Great Olympics amongst others.
Asamoah Gyan’s signing compelled Sarkodie to express his interest in the local game.
According to Sarkodie, his presence in the local league will make things very exciting.
He has expressed his willingness and readiness in multiple tweets, to follow the teams in the Ghana Premier League and also, looking forward to performing at one of the local league matches.
It is highly likely that the celebrated rapper will eventually turn to be a fan of the royals due to his immediate interest in the local league because of Asamoah Gyan.
