Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie on his new “brown paper bag” song has asked his fans not to rate bars but rather focus on the content of the song.
Some years back, Sarkodie and Manifest had a strong beef that lead to many talks in Ghana. People started comparing the two outstanding rappers.
This caused quite a stir even between fans of Sarkodie and those of manifest. The two rappers finally made peace at manifestivities in 2018.
For the first time in three years, Sarkodie features Manifest on a song he recently released, tagged “Brown Paper Bag”. The song carries a very powerful message to Ghanaians and all Africans across the globe. Upon hearing the new track, many people started reacting. Some praised the King of Ghana rap, Sarkodie and Manifest as other criticized Sarkordie’s rap. Many people has compared the two rappers.
The award-winning rapper Sarkodie, came out to say that everyone should stop comparing him to Manifest and rather pay attention to the message the song preaches.
He stated that he understands rap and he knows that fans will feel the need to rate their lyrics but the “Brown paper bag” is not about rating him and Manifest. He said that we are in serious times and that the message embedded in the song is very important as he finally commended Manifest.
