Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, applicants need to:

  • Live outside the UK and do not have UK citizenship.
  • You need to have a PhD before the fellowship starts.
  • You should have at most seven years of full-time work experience after getting your doctorate.
  • You should not have lived, worked, or done research in the UK for over 12 months before the deadline (short visits that were less than three months do not count).
  • If you finished your PhD in the UK, you need to have worked outside the UK for at least one year before the application deadline.

  • Resume (including gaps in work and part-time jobs).
  • List of published works.
  • Summary of a research project on one page. A 200 words maximum statement.

Full Proposal: Send it through the Flexi-Grant portal by March 18, 2025, after getting approval from the University.

Application Closing Date

  • Deadline to submit EOI: January 20, 2025
  • Final proposal due date: March 18, 2025.
  • Fellowship begins in September 2025.
