Duties of Room Attendant Jobs in Canada

As a Room Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and disinfecting washbasins, countertops, toilets, mirrors, baths, and showers.
• Drying and polishing glass surfaces.
• Washing dishes and storing clean glasses and silverware.
• Cleaning pots, utensils, and emptying garbage cans.
• Dusting furniture and fixtures thoroughly.
• Vacuuming carpets and upholstery when necessary, including moving furniture.
• Changing linens and assembling mattresses as needed.
• Replacing used amenities and soiled linens in restrooms.
• Sweeping and mopping surfaces for cleanliness.
• Restocking supplies like writing materials, coffee, and glassware.
• Ensuring all appliances are functional and reporting any issues.
• Inspecting unoccupied rooms and addressing maintenance needs.
• Assisting in cleaning public areas, restrooms, and elevators as required.
• Rearranging furniture according to specified layouts.

Prerequisites

To qualify for this position, candidates should:
