Rite Aid Support Ltd is a drug store business launched in 1962. It has almost 1,300 locations across 16 states.
After several years of expansion, Rite Aid changed its name and went public in 1968. Rite Aid was publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the code RAD and rated 148th in the Fortune 500 in 2022. The corporation filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October 2023, citing a massive debt burden and hundreds of lawsuits alleging complicity in the opioid crisis.
Rite Aid had 267 stores in ten states ten years after it launched its first. Rite Aid rose to become the nation’s third-largest retail drug store business in 1981. In 1983, sales reached $1 billion. A 420-store acquisition on the East Coast increased Rite Aid’s total number of outlets to over 2,000.
Responsibilities
- Elevator constructors and mechanics build, install, service, and repair freight and passenger elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and other associated equipment.
- Read and understand blueprints to establish the arrangement of system components.
- Perform preparatory construction work, including steelwork, wiring, and piping.
- Install elevators, escalators, moving walkways, dumb waiters, and other equipment in accordance with specifications.
- Connect car frames to counterweights using cables and assemble elevator cars.
- Install and wire the electric and electronic control system equipment.
- Install, test, and adjust the safety control devices.
- Test the operation of freshly installed equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system faults.
- Disassemble faulty units and repair or replace worn or questionable components.
- Adjust the valves, ratchets, seals, brake linings, and other components.
- Implement preventative maintenance procedures to maintain public safety.
Required Skill or Experience
- Must have further electrical and technological expertise.
- Smart and quick to learn.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Work with little supervision.
