Based in Accra, we are expanding our leadership team and seeking an accomplished National Sales Manager to spearhead our sales strategy and market expansion across the country.
This senior role is designed for a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, building high-performance teams, and establishing strong distribution networks. You will shape our national sales vision, manage key accounts, and ensure our products maintain and increase their market presence from our base in Teshie-Nungua.
Role Overview
As the National Sales Manager, you will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets. You will lead a dynamic sales team, cultivate relationships with major distributors and retailers, and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities. Your leadership will directly impact our brand’s footprint and profitability nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust national sales strategy and annual business plan to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a nationwide sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from pipeline management and forecasting to negotiation and deal closure.
- Ensure effective product distribution and visibility across all regions and retail channels.
- Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to recommend proactive business strategies.
- Prepare and present detailed sales performance reports to senior management.
Your Profile and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A proven track record in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the FMCG or food processing sector
- Strong experience in developing and executing national sales strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- A deep understanding of the Ghanaian market and distribution landscape.
- Strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and a results-driven mindset.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is highly preferred.
