POSITION: Marketing and Business Development Manager
Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Marketing and Business Development Manager to become part of our team. This position combines strategic business growth, marketing, and communication efforts to propel growth and improve our market visibility. The perfect applicant will have a solid foundation in these fields and a genuine enthusiasm for the biotechnology sector.
Main Duties:
Business Expansion:
- Recognize and seek out new business prospects to broaden the firm’s market presence.
- Establish and uphold strategic collaborations and alliances.
- Create and execute strategies for business development to meet revenue goals.
- Formulate, create, and implement annual strategic sales strategy.
- Guide the business development team to meet and surpass goals, guaranteeing ongoing training for employees and evaluating sales performance through collaborative visits and frequent meetings.
Marketing:
- Create and implement thorough marketing plans to advertise the company’s products and services.
- Perform market analysis to uncover trends, consumer demands, and the competitive environment.
- Oversee and enhance marketing initiatives across different platforms (online, print, events, etc.).
Promotional Communications:
- Manage public relations initiatives to boost brand awareness and credibility.
- Create and share newsletters and formal communication documents.
- Maintain uniform messaging and branding throughout every communication channel.
- Strengthen brand recognition and identity by implementing focused campaigns and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline (Master’s degree is desirable).
- Demonstrated expertise in business development, marketing, and communications, ideally within the biotechnology sector or a similar field.
- Robust analytical and strategic reasoning abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to operate autonomously and as a member of a group.
- Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms.
