    RESULTS || FULL RESULTS FROM NPP NATIONAL EXECUTIVE ELECTIONS

    On the 16th of July, 2022, the national executives’ elections for NPP were conducted at the Accra Sports Stadium. The elections aroused several upsets ad Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong defeated John Boadu by 313 votes for the position of General Secretary.  Nonetheless, this article will provide a full result from the NPP National Executives elections that wad conducted.

    FULL RESULTS

    To begin with the National Chairman Position

    For the position of National Chairman, there were 7 contestants.  These were: Gifty Asantewaa Ayeh, Sammy Crabbe, Professor Christopher Ameyaw Ekumfi, Akwasi Osei Adjei, Stephen Ayensu Ntim, Stephen Asamoah Boateng as well as Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah. Out of these contestants, Stephen Ayensu Ntim has the highest votes and hence is now the National Chairman-elect. The respective vote counts are as follows:

    • Gifty Asantewaa Ayeh -44
    • Sammy Crabbe- 32
    • Professor Christopher Ameyaw Ekumfi- 101
    • Akwasi Osei Adjei  -20
    • Stephen Ayensu Ntim – 4014
    • Stephen Asamoah Boateng- 1010
    • Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah- 294

    Secondly, the National Vice Chairman Position

    For the position of National Vice Chairman, there were 10 contestants. Out of these 10, 3 were selected as executives for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Vice Chair. Dankwah Smith Buttery, Rita Talata Asobayire, and Alhaji Masawudu Osman were the newly elected executives based on their vote counts. Below are the results

    • Israel Yahuzu – 613
    • McJewels J. Annan – 155
    • Dankwah Smith Buttey- 2,982
    • Rita Talata Asobayire- 2,927
    • Edmond Oppong Peprah – 479
    • Kiston Akomeng Kissi – 2,069
    • Derek Kwaku Nkansah – 491
    • Michael Owari Wadie – 1,635
    • Ken-Wuud Nuworsu – 520
    • Alhaji Masawudu Osman- 2,128

    Thirdly, The General Secretary Position

    The next position is the General Secretary. For this position, there were 5 contestants.  Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua came out as the winner with a vote count of 2, 837. Below are the results.

    • John Boadu- 2524
    • Iddrisu Musah – 104
    • Ramsey Ahmed Agyeman Prempeh – 8
    • Frederick Opare Ansah – 50
    • Justin Frimpong Kodua- 2, 837

    Also, The National Organiser Position

    Moving on is the position of National Organiser. 6 people contested for this position.  However, Henry Nana Boakye came out as the winner with 2, 870 votes.

    • Bright Essilfie Kumi- 137
    • Setup Adu Adjei- 25
    • Daniel Nii Kwartey Titus Glover – 2274
    • Eric Amoako Twum- 185
    • Henry Nana Boakye – 2870
    • Nana Owusu Fordjour – 44

    Besides the Positions above, the National Youth Organiser

    There were 4 contestants here. Abanga  Fusani Yakubi with 153 votes, Salam Mohammed Mustapha with 255 votes, Prince Kamal Gumah with 101 votes, and Michael Osei Boateng with 120 votes. Per these results, the winner of the National Youth Organiser is Salam Mohammed Mustapha.

    In addition to the above, the Women’s Organiser Position

    • Kate Gyamfua -620
    • Ellen Ama Daaku – 9
    • Hajia Sawadatu Saeed – 32
      From these results, it is concluded and confirmed that the winner of the Women’s Organiser is Miss Kate Gyamfua.

    Last but not least, the National Treasurer Position

    • Dr. Charles Dwamena – 2917
    • Mary Posche Oduro – 1303
    • Dr. Yusif Tedam – 125
    • Collins N. Nuamah- 1197

    The winner for National Treasurer per these results is Dr. Charles Dwamena.

    Lastly, The Nasara Coordinator Position

    There were 6 contestants. Per the vote counts, Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa is the winner for Nasara Coordinator. He came out with a vote count of 328. Below are the results.

    • Haruna Maiga – 5
    • Abdul Rahman Diallo – 2
    • Issaku Muaza Kunata – 199
    • Away Mohammed- 24
    • Sulemana Alhassan Atakpo – 9
    • Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa- 328
