The program uses a proven “Lab Bench to Store Shelves” methodology throughout. Funding comes through a grant from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Program Requirements

Fellows must register for the mandatory New Venture Creation graduate course. This class meets on Thursday evenings throughout the program’s duration. Additionally, students dedicate at least five hours weekly to other activities. These include workshops on IP management and translational research. Most supplementary sessions happen on Friday afternoons at the university.

Participants must remain present in St. John’s throughout the program generally. Exceptions apply only to fieldwork or other campus locations.
