About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will play a key role in coordinating safe and efficient clinical operations in partnership with the ED management team. You will also provide leadership and guidance to colleagues, particularly during after-hours shifts, ensuring high standards of care are consistently maintained. This role operates on a seven-day rotating roster, including night duty and public holidays, offering exposure to varied and rewarding clinical experiences.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Deliver high-quality, person-centred emergency nursing care in a rural setting.
Apply advanced triage and clinical judgement to manage patient flow and prioritisation.
Support and guide nursing staff, particularly during after-hours periods.
Collaborate closely with the broader hospital and community healthcare teams.
Maintain patient safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development.

Essential Requirements

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Valid or eligible ANMAC skills assessment under ANZSCO 254415.
